It's not that I don't appreciate everything the GOP is doing to implode, I guess; it's just that having to read and hear clueless arrogance hurts some days.

She's trying, it might seem to some. I try not to think that way, since I believe in science and all, but it's hard at times like this.

I could create a scientific argument for it. After all, what conditions are necessary for the creation of hurricanes?

1. hot air
2. spin
3. backwards (counterclockwise) momentum
4. wet
5. depression

Now, in case some of these elements are not self-explanatory, I will elaborate:
- Hot air from political convention
- spin from the spin doctors of the politicians
- backwards (counterclockwise) momentum represents the Republican desire to turn back the clock
- wet - as in "all wet" [meaning "completely mistaken" - e.g. "their ideas are all wet"]
- depression - ours, at contemplating the gullibility of voters

And with that, I believe I have conclusively proved that the concurrence of Republican conventions + hurricanes is not accidental, it is inevitable.
