veronica_richI put down a few thoughts on the whole gaming/Lara Croft drama really quick yesterday; if you want, you can find it over here. I'm not a gamer - I've always been sort of an anomaly among fellow geeks I know - and such as this would not help me want to be one.

But basically, the idea being "if male characters are badass, it's almost never because THEIR adversity was a rape, so why do so many female characters have to face it?"
