Feb. 7th, 2008 12:43 amI was at the local Steak-n-Shake today to take advantage of their $2.99 special because I left work early (which, I wasn't supposed to be there, but I was at a meeting yesterday and couldn't get to the office, and had to finish the magazine today). potcfest story and these two people come up to me and comment on the POTC stickers on the cover of the computer. They stood there and talked for a few minutes about liking POTC and X-Men and indicated they are local college students. They said something about going to movies and such, so I gave one my business card and the girl seemed all excited to do something at some time. I may never hear from them again, but it was nice to have people come up to me instead of having to go try to go out and find people to talk to in this strange town, for a change.
Alas, I may not see a human for the next four days. I have somehow committed myself to at least 3-4 articles by Monday.
