This rambles for days...

Oh, yay, someone else who has seen it already.

I really liked it, but I thought, like you, that some parts were a bit weird. I was questioning whether my love of Turrow was the cause of it, but yo explained it nicely - Ms Swan and Captain Sparrow are too much alike. The thing is, each is right about the other - she wants freedom and adventure, he wants to be admired for something people don't want him dead for as well.

Please, give me your opinion of the three-way sword fight. I think it's an interesting idea, but the way that abandoned, decrepit mill showed up was weird, and the rolling, while great for action and hilarity, had a flair of the ridiculous.

And the ending - omg, the ending. I nearly cried - I love all manner of crossovers, bringing people back from the dead, revisiting old stories. GODDAMN, I can't believe they want me to wait til next summer to see the end. I think that When they all are out on DVD, I'll watch them all straight through (I still need to do that with LOTR, hmm). That ending floored me. I squealed. I'm such a fangirl.

You know what else I cant wait for? Seeing what you do with this new canon. I'm drooling here for some Veronica Rich magic. I'll be stuck to my lappy for days looking for the usual suspects' fanfic.
