Damn, the haters in the Orlando fandom are still just as batcrap nutters as ever. Bunches of them have hated on his wife for a long time, and now some of them are taking aim at their baby.

...... Really? Damn, you bitches is crazy. Picking at adults is a little eyebrow-raising, but a freakin' infant? Please.

Schmoopy fic where the pairing of choice spend some time raising kids. Depending on the fandom, can be where they are playing happy families with kids from previous relationships, adopt a couple of babies, or have them show up from somewhere.

Kidfic works for a -lot- of pairings, but is the definition of bad idea in others. As an example, anyone leaving an infant with Captain Jack Sparrow should be brought up on charges by whatever is the 18th century equivlent of child protective services.

People giving babies to Benton Fraser? Not such a bad deal.

(someone on A03 is currently writing a fic where a surprise baby of Adam Lamberts, from a long ago one night stand shows up. I think we can all see the problem with this logic.)

Ah, kidfic. I can handle it in actual fiction; it's the RPF aspect that bothers me. That's what I was afraid you meant. :-P

For me it depends on the RPF. I was in Popslash, and I must say Justin Timberlake wound up impregnated several times to great effect.

With RPF, I'm much more ok with it when it comes from a case of crack or stage persona. MPREG Justin wasn't any weirder than Lance Bass: Llama.

But I don't get it about the actors themselves. It's not so much their public persona. And I'm of the opinion that -actual- children of celebrities should be left entirely out of it. You want a passing mention, 'oh, yes, I've a son, he lives with his mother', fine. But don't make them into characters.

Lol... You make me want to track down the photo of me dressed up as sparrow holding my friends three month old. Heck, I would put on the costume again to get pix with my new baby, but as a milk producing cow, there's now way in hell I could pass for a man currently. Maybe when I stop nursing the costume will fit again. :)

Seriously, wtf? Men with babies instantly double their sex appeal.
