Really, Nature? REALLY?? You need to do this?

Those of you who've been through this kind of weather will understand my fury. Those of you who have not have no clue. Unless you live in a hurricane area; you get a free pass because your storms suck ass, too.

I usually don't get too concerned about the winter forecasts around here, but I don't f*** around with ice. We dealt with a major ice storm the winter before we moved up, and you can NOT drive on that stuff.
We're taking a wait-and-see on tonight, and the paper plans to put us up in the Holiday Inn Express next door tomorrow night.

Supposed to be between -10 and -20 tonight in Colorado. They have already canceled school for most of the major districts tomorrow. Two weeks ago I was in Cancun on vacation and it was 80 degrees. I'm ready to head back down there.

For once, Minnesota gets off light! Today's commutes were no picnic, and I doubt tomorrow will be a huge improvement... but considering the snowfall we've already had this winter, 4 or 5 more inches is nothing to fuss over.

Is it ice or snow for you guys out East? And by East, I mean Indy ;-)

We have blizzard warnings beginning at 6AM tomorrow, expecting 9 inches of snow by 6PM, possibly another 10 to 12 AFTER that with 45 MPH winds.

Beat that!

They are calling it "historic" and it's not even started yet.

So...are you about to be in a frozen tornado?? That looks ridiculous. You can come visit me in San Francisco. We just have cold (for us; you'd probably wear shorts and go to the beach) and fog. Earthquakes are random.

Yikes. Britain's weather tends to be either dull, hot or snowy. Nothing really extreme like this.

I was in Florida for the 2005 hurricane that passed over and gradually became Katrina - easily the scariest bit of weather I've ever seen. In the storm, lightning struck only a few metres away from us! ARGH! *runs away*

I'm on the East Coast end of this mess. All ice.

To say that I am winter weary is a massive understatement.
