The "Pirates" sequel, "Dead Man's Chest," teaser trailer is up online. It's quite small, but perfectly visible. Have patience while it downloads:

Yes, I am still trying to avoid as many spoilers as possible. Yes, I watched it anyway; I figure 8 months ahead of time, the teaser trailer never tells you much of what the movie's actually about, and I was right in that it doesn't tell me any more than I have already found out through chance and accident (plus, if I go to ANY movies in the next 8 months, I'm not going to be able to avoid seeing teasers, that's just a fact). THAT SAID, HOWEVER, I do not want any actual spoilers about what will happen in the movie - that is, if anyone's read something or knows the plot beyond what's in here, I don't want to know about it!

I do not mind, however, speculative conversation in the comments based just on what you see in the trailer. (At least there's nothing about Jack possibly being Will's uncle or father. *whimpers, hides, plots to ignore the last two-thirds of 'canon' if need be for fanfic purposes*)

EDIT: If you have problems playing the damn thing, wait until later and go back to try again. I have a feeling all the traffic has temporarily killed it.

EDIT 2: Page down in my comments to this and there seems to be an alternate downloading solution. But try the above link first!

I seriously doubt that Jack is related to Will. I talked to the writers, asn someone asked this question, and they said no, he is not related in anyway to Will aside from knowing his father. They may have changed that, but I doubt it.

On that note, though, Jack won't even tell THEM where his from, so he's and enigma, wrapped in a mystery, that gets drunk with a riddle. *grins*

Dude, as long as I can happily write them shagging like bunnies, I don't mind WHAT else they do with Will/Elizabeth. I can work around it! LOL

I loved that whole "We can't leave without Jack!" followed by "Let's go!" *needs to watch again to get the dialogue down*

"Will: What about Jack, I can't leave without him!

Jack: *runs screaming from a horde of natives*

Will: *blinks* Nevermind, lets go!"

GOD! I WANT THIS MOVIE OUT ALREADY! *dies*

And yes, working around the Het is half the fun of slash! *gringringrin*

It was so nice to hear Will Turner's voice saying something new, even if it was bitching at Jack (maybe especially because).

And I am in love with the way Jack orders his crew around in a crisis situation ...

*grins* Again for your viewing pleasure.

And me too. I wouldn't mind Jack putting in an appearance either.

Now, just the small matter of watching or joining in... decisions, decisions...

Yay!

Is Grandma any more bearable today? (If she liked pirates, you could cheer her up, too.)

I so needed something happy and you gave it to me. Thanks.

No, Grandma is just as bad today. She even talked through Lost!! I'm really going crazy. Thanks for asking.

Every time I try to download it, the actual video never shows up. But I've got the sound, and I've got it on Repeat, so I can smile and wonder what it'll be like without having the movie ruined. Except for some of the lines, but I don't mind about that. Thanks!

Did you try the downloadable link on elflady's page? You can right-click and "save target as" on your computer for repeated viewing later ...

Yep, and it didn't work... I think it's my Winamp player, I'll try and get my Dad to fix it or something so I can watch later.
