I've been remiss in posting a well-deserved "thank you" - mikononyte mailed me a pillow and little blanket she MADE (I can't even be bothered to darn my own pants!). They're really pretty and well made, and this was cool!

I should also give a shout-out to gryphons_lair who has made an afghan for me, and metalkatt who mailed a homemade one to me earlier this year. I am happy to have friends who think so much of me to put all those hours into neat things like this. (This doesn't mean everybody has to do this, LOL - but props should be given when they are deserved.)

Where do I sign up to acquire an afghan making flist? It's getting cold up here in Minnesota, I could use a few lovely afghans ;)

It's true! For every asshole I've had to deal with, there are 50 good fans out there (not all of them give you free stuff, but are still nice). It also helps that I know 2 of the afghan-makers in real life, most probably. ;-)
