Go http://www.musicoutfitters.com/ and put your birth year into the search thingy. The first link is likely the top 100 songs of that year. Cut and paste that list here. Bold the ones you actually like. Understand that the word "like" in this case means, in the very least, "wouldn't immediately change the radio station from". Pick a favorite. Underline that favorite.

The Godspell soundtrack? ^_^ Actually, this is the year my sister was born. I wonder if she would appreciate giving this a go, or if she would just tell me off... ;)

I'll swap you years. I'm a sucker for 80s retro pop and rock (as opposed to all that feel-good hippie crap, as Cartman would call it, from 1972 ... ROFL).

Okay, I did the meme thing. I have to say it's a good thing I didn't do _your_ year. I'd have most of the list in bold. My personal favorite from this year is "City of New Orleans." Great song, though "American Pie" is pretty wonderful too.:)

You'd think 1969 would be a pretty groovy year... You'd be wrong. Lot of folk stuff that I'm really not into. Best I found was The Beatles - Come Together.

I don't think anyone I know on LJ actually *likes* most of the music from the year they were born, but they sure can like music from someone else's year ...

I was wrong about there being "lots" of Beatles. That was '64.

Well, there were a lot more Beatles in 1969 than there are now, I suppose ...
