Last year,
a_silver_rose hand-sewed a Jack and a Will doll for me, and their clothes. She could find no weapons for them to carry, so I've been scouring eBay for letter openers shaped like swords, just the right size, for them.
I managed to find a very inexpensive one for Will, the perfect size and style, for less than $8. Still haven't found one for Jack, but in the course of hunting I did find a letter opener for me - it *would* be perfect for Jack in design and style except for one rather large problem ...

Date: 2005-07-25 03:05 am (UTC)I'm sure Gail will be glad to hear your praise of her work. I was rather surprised to get them - they're about the same size as a Barbie doll, and Jack is just a *tidge* shorter, quite by accident (though it works perfectly since that's how it is anyway). You should see them in a NON-blurry digital photo.
