Hey, it's MY vacation! Write me fic!

veronica_richSo anyway, everyone on my f-list has been on the travel lately, and apparently they have LOTS more time on their vacations than I do, for they're asking for drabble request ideas!
Well, I'm going to turn it around. By God, it's MY vacation! YOU write ME fic! *evil laugh*
Seriously, anyone who's so inclined, this is what I'll do for you: You write me anything from a drabble to a longer fic, and I'll ... hmm ... I'll pick through my music collection and find a song that goes with it, and give you the link to the lyrics online. Better yet, if it's a song on CD, I'll see what I can do about uploading to yousendit.com and letting you hear it for yourself (if you don't already have it).
Here is what I want for my summer reading: (1) POTC featuring most favorite pirate and blacksmith, anything you want to do with them OR (2) KoH fic about Balian - no slash, but I'll happily take hetfic involving him. (Of course, you can write KoH slash anytine you want to, I just like Balian/Sibylla myself, and happen to think he's straight as an arrow. :-P )
There's really no time limit on this, although my vacation begins Wednesday and I'll be road-tripping through Kentucky for many, many hours, and need something on my mind through Louisville (pronounced LOU-ee-ville, dammit). So ... anyone interested, you can post in your own LJ and link to it here for all our enjoyment.

Give me an AU, set in whatever time period interests you the most. I don't want character death. I sort of like first meeting/first encounter type things, rather than an established relationship, but if you can make the latter work, go for it!
