beldar. It's a good post and if you're healthy enough to donate blood, platelets, whichever, please consider doing so. (I haven't done it in several years - I used to about every 2 months or so - but I'm going to start up again.) Because his brother isn't the only relative getting blood transfusions, and the OP isn't the only family member out there thankful to those who do donate.
