So McCain keeps harping on Obama's "spread the wealth" comment, using it to scare people into thinking the Obamaramas are going to break into their homes in the dead of night and take all that money they have (in their fantasy bank vaults and stock portfolios, I suppose) and spirit it off to da 'hood to give some dirty black and Hispanic children to wipe their asses with. /sarcasm

Y'know, Johnny - if you'd paid attention in class instead of dreaming of the cockpit and girls, you would KNOW that spreading the wealth is how you CREATE an economy - give people jobs and pay them so they can, in turn, spend that money on goods and services produced by ... other people with paying jobs, who will in turn pay for their customers' goods and services. It's a cycle, Johnny. And hogging 90 percent of the wealth in one squirrely corner doesn't "spread" anything. If people can't spend, they can't buy; if they can't buy, well, just who the hell do you think all those auto workers and hairdressers and chefs are going to sell TO?

I doubt Johnny-boy gives a single thought to whether what he's spouting is true. But I'd bet all my wealth (heh) that his trainers are well aware of this bullshittery. If it'll scare folks into voting McCain, that's all that matters. (I mean seriously, I can't imagine anyone in that campaign truly believes Obama is the Antichrist, of all things. But they're spewing that right along with the dreaded impending socialist dictatorship and the sekrit Muslim agenda.)

This is always what I say when people bitch about raising the minimum wage. They claim it will cause businesses to go under because they can't afford to pay the workers. What goes around comes around. Plus, the government gets to TAX those increased wages more! What's not to love about increasing the minimum wage.

Sheesh, people who have degrees are so freakin' dumb sometimes.
