THIS is why I don't want to be a visible celebrity, like an actor or a performer or a socialite. I'll stick with novelist - where you never look like your book jacket, so nobody can bother you, LOL.

Geez, who hasn't been late to class once? It isn't the greatest thing, but until it becomes a habit and she's missing National Guard meetings and drug screenings ... so? ;-)

In fannish news, who is Dawn Swann? Is that like a female Don Juan? Or maybe the reporter was thinking of Tony ORLANDO & Dawn?

Wow, if that's news, my sister should be all over the place. She's *always* late for work, it seems. Though, if those parents want a hardworking heir, I'd be more than happy to offer myself for adoption if they'll pay for schooling. Having a person who can translate among several different languages would definitely be a boon to diplomacy. And, when the time comes to pop a kid, I could always hire a surrogate. (Hey, they all have nannies; why not a surrogate, too?)

"Dawn Swann" sounds like a horrendous Mary Sue...who has violet eyes with blue sparkles in them and lustrous red hair hanging down to her hip. And her own pirate ship. With a crew of girls.

As for Fergie's kid, yeah, poor thing didn't ask to be born into the "social" world. And, no, I don't wish to be one of those people. I rather prefer the entire world not knowing when I have a zit.

Hearing Dawn Swann, I can't help but think of Lizzie cosplaying as the comic character Dawn.

Except she totally doesn't have the curves to pull it off.
