Has anyone been flooded out of their home, or lost anything to the floods?

I was out of my home state, visiting family, when it hit, thankfully. I had to drive past a lot to get home, but no bad roads did I have to cross.

No, but I couldn't get home once last year because the road was flooded and then that section of the road was washed away...

They closed the interstate near where I live yesterday because they were concerned about rising water and flooding.
One guy down the road had a part of his driveway washed away last weekend.
They're evacuating people around the lakes here because the water is rising so fast.
Personally I haven't had any problems 'tho, thank god.

Mom said they're sand-bagging New Harmony, which we'll be passing through on our way to Carmi, IL, tomorrow. Hopefully all the roads stay open.

I've been fortunate here. No flooding, and the tornadoes last weekend missed me. I'm hoping that continues.

So far, I've been fortunate as well. The rain that cut a swath through the middle of my state (Wisconsin) yesterday, for hours and hours and dumped 6 more inches, kind of skirted my city. There's more rain in the forecast for tomorrow, though. Insult to injury.
