Who wants to bet on Edwards as the veep candidate?
Anyone? Anyone want to bet against me?
I'm willing to hear a more probable name. You probably know one.
Although, I'm actually more worried who McCain'll pick - as he is white, male, and "experienced," I'm sure he'll get it in November. Neither Huckabee nor Leiberman look very attractive.

P.S.
*hisses*
Sayeth not the name, for it is vile in my sight! I was one of those stolid individuals who stood out in the rain during the Connecticut senatorial elections with big ol' signs saying "JOE LIEBERMAN VOTED FOR TORTURE." I particularly enjoyed edging up close to the "VOTE JOE" group and ignoring their dirty looks. Gotta love free speech. Well, what we have left of it.

I dunno about Hillary as VP. She's a VERY polarizing character - people either love her or hate her.

I like Richardson as VP, and think Edwards will have a place in the Cabinet. IF Obama can get elected. Believe me, I'm not all that reassured at this point.

But...I wish dearly that Clinton had won the nomination. She was my candidate from the beginning. I would be psyched beyond measure if Obama took her as VP.

I don't like Hillary as a choice because then you've just got two junior senators. She doesn't add anything to ticket in the way of experience, military service, etc.
I've heard Jim Webb being kicked around and he'd take the wind right out of McCain's military experience sails, but he's apparently got some old writings floating around out there that might lose him the female vote. Kathleen Sebelius has also been mentioned, but if they're just thinking that as a woman she'll bring in the Hillary voters, they're probably wrong. My husband decided we're moving if Evan Bayh ends up on the ticket - I'm not sure why other than he thinks he's a jackass.

I dunno about Clinton. I'm sour on her right now just because I think it's tacky that she didn't formally concede. The longer this goes on, the more difficult it'll be to stitch the party back together in time for the convention, much less the election. It's not going to be an easy fight. Mostly I'm just really excited to finally have a candidate, and one whom I believe will be able to mobilise people across the board (I do not want to be ashamed by the youth vote like in 2004).
God, I hope McCain doesn't go for Huckabee. If a warhawk and a creationist get into the highest positions in the country (uh...again), fuck it, I'm moving back to the UK.

As for Clinton, there's been talk about Obama being uneasy with Bill being so close to the Presidency again, which I don't blame him for. I'm not getting a vibes for Edwards, either, though I do like the guy. I've also heard talk about Sebelius, the Governor of Kansas.
