I'm so goth ...

Well, not really ... but I pretend I'm one for this!

angry_biscuit has a thing going in his journal, a game he and a friend invented that's sort of like the Dead Dozens, called "I'm So Goth ..." Some of them are a riot, and he's inviting people to add to the list if they feel brave enough.

I read some of those. At first I thought it was funny, but then I began to wonder if they're making fun of goths or what exactly is the point?

I know goth as a type of music and not just as a means to make a fashion statement by dressing in black & liking vampires. That to me is not goth, in fact, some so-called goth people have no clue about the music or worse yet, it's a status symbol to show "how goth" they can be.

I know more about how goth got started than most goths. That makes me pretty damn Goth, I think!
