that obligatory Sept. 11 post

OK, so I'm avoiding TV today. I'm not making a big post about tragedies and anniversaries. But, for those of you who care to do so, comment - what were you doing 10 years ago today? Or, what've you done in your life in the last 10 years?

I recognize many people don't want to make a post but may still want a place to write a short something.
