R.I.P., Elizabeth

Reuters reported just a short time ago that Elizabeth Edwards, who used to be known for being married to former presidential candidate and senator John Edwards, died today at the age of 61. It was just announced very recently that she'd elected to quit cancer treatments and live out what short time she had left at home.

I never met the woman, but by all appearances she was smart, classy, tough, and gracious. Better than John deserved, frankly, at least in the last several years. Hopefully she did a lot to alert people to the signs and treatments for cancer. Rest in peace, lady.
