crossover crack

National Lampoon's "Vacation" is on TV Land tonight. It's been a few years since I saw this movie; it was one of the very few everybody in my family liked and could watch all together. (How sad is it that I can recognize the music changes from the original release movie?)

Anyway, I had a crossover crack idea while watching this: "Vacation" mashed up with "The Brittas Empire." Envision it: Gordon taking the family on a cross-European car trip, with hallucinations of Laura in a Ferrari tagging along every so often when the family's asleep. Perhaps one of Mrs. Brittas's older "uncles" along in the back seat ...

It would be epic. ADMIT IT.
