possible "Pirates" stuffs
May. 2nd, 2009 03:15 amThursday night, I saw "Bedtime Stories" which had Russell Brand in a supporting role, and last night, I saw "17 Again" starring Zac Efron.
There have been rumors - true or not - that the next POTC movie would feature one of these actors, either as Jack's brother or him as a younger man, respectively. There has also been much bitching around LJ about these choices. All I can say is, both can do comedy pretty well, and neither one seems a bad actor. I wouldn't be too distressed to see either incorporated into POTC (I think Johnny Depp could hold his own against either or both with no problem).
(Then again, I'm just happy Orlando Bloom is doing other things besides considering a POTC4, and working again. He needs to continue trying to branch out in other types of roles.)
