To borrow from a wise commenter on my f-list:
"Sex and the City" causes a big uproar because it's about four women who like to do girly things and sleep around - shop, pick out shoes, drink, have sex, talk about men, and not report in to anyone. Everybody makes fun of it; or they criticize it; or they just flat-out hate it.
But Judd Apatow can release something at least once a year that's about teenage boys (or the mental equivalent thereof) in the pursuit of pussy and beer ... and that's clever and hilarious? Innnnnnnnnteresting.
I mean - I liked "Superbad." But I like SatC, too. What oh what is wrong with me? LOL
