On writing:
The bad news is that I'm stuck on my Tertiary Ficathon story. No, it's not yet done. Yes, I should be good and whacked for it (virtually, online, that is). It WILL be finished, just far past its due date.
The reasons for this are not bad. For one, I have articles and features to write for the local paper and a couple of other places, and I may have just picked up yet another magazine (local and regional magazines here tend to rise and fall at a rapid rate, lasting for about a year before folding - during which time I spam the hell out of them and take as much of their freelancer budget as they'll allow).
But the very good news, at least for me, is that "Deny" is moving once again, if a bit glacially. This is an improvement over it standing stock-still for so many months. This is the sixth installment in "Contradictions" for those three people actually keeping score. I have hopes this might actually be finished sometime in the current epoch, so I can move on to the seventh story, yet untitled.

Date: 2004-10-21 06:46 pm (UTC)But thanks for checking back every so often. I'm trying, really; I need to tell my editors to go to the hot place for a while so I can write my fanfic instead of regular articles and such!

Date: 2004-10-21 05:22 pm (UTC)Hands down, you are the BEST Will/Jack writer out there. I've pretty much stopped reading POTC fan fic on a regular basis, but you are one of the very few authors whom I stalk for great fic.
Seriously, I'm embarrassed that I haven't written to you before, but you should know that you really have a lot for which to be proud. Utterly fantastic work. ^_^

Date: 2004-10-21 06:45 pm (UTC)Ah, it strokes my ego. I am happy to hear it, and you've just made me smile very muchly, yes please. *G*
I know I'm incredibly slow these days, but I promise more is coming. Just be patient with the production, and thanks for reading!
