I'm still calling it "shit eating" until I hear a better description.

That's the best one I've heard. Sort of scary, too.

It's a very antagonizing smirk that either makes you want to smack him hard in the mouth or kiss him. Either way, I think I would have fun.

I'd probably smack him. Then, when he's dazed, I'd kiss him.

He always looks like the cat that swallowed the canary, doesn't he? So damn pleased with himself. Cocky bastard, how I love him.

He really is. But there are some people he's never given that expression.

Will got the Stupid Glare of Popeyes. I'm not sure if that bodes for a kiss or a smack. Maybe both.

And Pintel and Ragetti got the Confuzzled Double Take of Betrayal.

I think all posts should have more Jack smirks in them.

I think there ought to be more Jack smirking, period.

THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP ...

I still love Will ... but I love Jack too!

Jack truly is smirk-tastic. It's one of those looks that we all love, but usually means trouble to who ever is on the receiving end.

You'd think so, given its history ...

It does seem mean that he is plotting, or scheming or generally hatin', doesn't it.

I think of it as his Coyote Grin. Not to get too mythological, but I think that the spark of the divine at play that Johnny lets us see in these looks is what makes Jack Sparrow such a powerful and beloved character.
