Someone pointed out the other day that Will and Elizabeth actually don't get much time together in either movie - each of them spends more time with Jack than with one another. (Which wouldn't bother me personally, but ... heh ... especially William.)
I hope you get your fic underway in the way you like. It's hard to write, even something that looks short and simple!
