Keep Calm and Think Positively

tesan called a week or so ago that after years of not seeing a doctor, she was going to have some tests because she was sick and didn't know why - though she had suspicions relating to her uterus. She can't get health insurance, but luckily, her grandmother has a trust that will hopefully pay for these things. Last night, she called back and said doctors had found a tumor in her intestines and needed to biopsy it, but felt it would probably be malignant.
She asked me to ask anyone I know to have a talk with their deity of choice, to grant her some good luck, so I'm asking you, I guess. I've known her for 12 years, and she's a funny, snarky, smart person who needs to be on this earth for a good deal longer. And me - I just need to know someone diagnosed with cancer in their 50s who doesn't die of it. So don't comment; you can't. Just put some mental energy into hoping the best for her.
