I'm fat, and not ashamed of it, but I have no problem with agreeing its better to get exercise and to try to eat healthier than not - if you CAN get a smaller body out of it, that's great. (And if you can't, it's more important that you make effort to have healthy habits and not starve or overtax yourself, or yo-yo simply to look ideal.) I don't even disagree that being lighter is likely better on joints, bones, heart, etc., even if there are plenty of overweight old people who are healthy at their age.

BUT, if you go around proclaiming how women with thin, healthy bodies have no pain or problems with periods and indicate it's a fat-woman issue,I will snap off your head and shit down your neck. I know too many smaller women who suffer at that time of the month (and I'm sure there are bigger women who barely register discomfort with menses, though lord knows I wasn't one of them). I mean, really.
