Naps are fabulously helpful when used properly. I think I don't treat them right. My sleep cycle has been fucked up since college, when I had to work full-time and go to school full-time and only slept about 4 hours a night. Well, that was 20 years ago, and I've never quite been able to get to the point where I can fall asleep before 1-2 a.m. even now. And I get up around 6 or 7. I try to solve this by taking a nap in the evening, 1-1.5 hours usually, but while I'm aware I'm still not getting enough sleep, I really don't want to get to bed by 10 p.m. to change it, LOL.
