summer has begun

I don't remember when the tradition started, but it's been going for many, many years for me now - for some reason, I have to hear Don Henley's "Boys of Summer" on both Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends for the summer to "officially" open and close. Listening to Pandora this morning, it came on ... and I was reminded what weekend it is.

Rather ironically, I also like "Dirty Laundry," too. Maybe because I don't roll that way. Well ... only sometimes. ;-)

Hey, I just got back from a Vegas Vacation - and I couldn't help but notice A LOT of eighties music being played. Everywhere. I thought it might be a Vegas thing, but maybe it's a Holiday celebration thing?

Or maybe a lot of that music was wacky and distinctive. It leaves an impression. And still sounds damn good.
