The "I'm sorry" is only appropriate at the beginning of affairs like this. Coming clean right at the beginning. The repeated denials (shades of John Edwards) don't work for me. And, ew! Shades of creepy. I'm a staunch Democrat and I would have a hard time voting for him again. Just like I refused to vote for John Edwards even though he was a viable candidate on most of the issues.
