I think this is just proof of how Bush has mucked everything up, for those who wouldn't otherwise believe it - people would not be considering something "different" in demographics at this point in time if old white guys were still perceived as having the nation's best interests at heart, instead of their own particular interests. (I'm not being either racist or sexist - I'm observing that human nature does what human nature always does ... the sizable population only seeks radical change when there are no other options perceived.)
