all the things
Jun. 14th, 2012 02:21 pmHumorous things: The sparrabethers are wetting themselves in glee that their queen, Keira Knightley, made an offhand comment that if Will's gone all but every ten years, Elizabeth might hook up with Jack. (I like how the post acknowledges Teh Loonies, even if the timeline's off a tidge, LOL!) And, you know, those crazy kids deserve to be happy - their whole fannish experience was just ruined by not getting their canon couple, doggone it ... they had to sit meekly by and put up with what everybody else liked and were just so goshdarned polite and mannerly and sweet while the rest of us rubbed their cute little noses in our canon 'ships, and ... oh man, I can't keep this poker face up. :-P~~~
(But, her and Steve's new movie does look cute. I may have to go see that.)
Real things: A poll shows Americans still blame Dubya more for the poor current economy than Obama. It's good to know logic is still at work in some majority somewhere. (If you're one of those who thinks a man in office three and a half years still carrying on the one war, and just not pushing for the kind of taxes we should be getting off of wealthy individuals and businesses flagrantly violating every loophole they can find (grrrr), is as equally to blame for our lack of money and bruised economic system as the one who spent eight years beginning and waging two wars and shelling out every tax cut under the sun to the richies - not to mention the two presidents before HIM who signed off on NAFTA - well, you need some electrical conduits to stimulate your brain's logic centers, my friend.)
Creepy things: Remember Twilight? Remember there's one more movie to come out this year, the whole demonspawn storyline? Remember how that werewolf imprints on the baby? (Ewwww.) There's now a still photo of Jacob with his future intended, at age 11. (As I said in a comment on the site, if it shows up - you gotta give Lautner credit for not trying to look Uncle Stalker Creepy. "On my lap? Mmm, no ... how about you sit instead on this three square inches of chair my leg isn't taking up? There you go!")
