Writer's Block: Occupied

I have not, because I am lucky enough to have a job that requires me to work a schedule that doesn't really leave me time to protest. I say "lucky" because I've been in the position of unable to find work and I agree with many of their complaints about distribution of wealth and opportunity in this country. I for one have worked multiple concurrent part-time, noninsured jobs for years at a time and still bankrupted myself trying to do little more than eat, pay rent, and keep a cheap car. I never want to go through that hell again - and I don't want other people to, either.
Further, I'm pretty weary of reading criticism from people of this who wouldn't know real financial hardship if it slapped them across the face. Come back when YOU haven't had a parent or spouse or friend to help support you in 20 years or so, and I'll take you seriously. Otherwise, you're free to opine all over the place - but I for one can only shake my head and laugh at the fairy tale vision you have of this economy.
