grateful stuff
Aug. 19th, 2010 01:53 amWednesday's gratitude devotion is having a job with an expense account, even though it's small. I remember having to pay for all my own meals and gasoline and hotel rooms as a freelancer. UGH.
Today's is not having any small children living in my apartment building. I sound like the horrible old witch in the cabin, but Dog help me, I just don't want to live with kids - I have an adult neighbor who's bad enough, but at least HIM I can yell at if it gets bad. You can't do that with other people's kids.
(Finally got to the third season of "How I Met Your Mother" tonight, where the guys go to a Victoria's Secret after-show party to try to pick up girls. Barney (NPH) strikes out with all the models, including the now-Mrs. Bloom. It was no great feat of acting, but each model had a short bit, and they were all humorous in their reactions to him, including Miranda's.)
