damn, I gotta get to the movies next week

Yeah - she's too old to play Lara Croft for a third movie. Pull the other one; more like, the studio doesn't want to pay the salary - what she probably got for the first movie back in 2001 was chump change compared to what she earns now. (There was an interesting article I read yesterday on how Jolie was the first woman to transcend gender as a female action hero - that she appeals to audiences similarly to how male action hero actors do. And it all started with the first "Tomb Raider," which I think was the first female-headed action movie to break $100 million domestic.)

She entertains me off and on, since the first time I went to see TR1 nine years ago. I couldn't care less about her personal life; she hasn't killed or raped any babies (and don't get me started on whose fault Brad's marriage breakup was, IMO - hint: It wasn't any woman). I pay my $8, I get action and humor.
