Last night, an f-lister posted that one of the "Red Dwarf" actors told BBC2 Radio the crew will be gathering before the camera again in January 2011 to film two new series of the show. I don't have a link to any sort of confirming article about it, but I'd like to think it's true. Who knows? *G*

And then I log onto Google this afternoon and see the site is marking the 110th birthday of Dennis Gabor, the inventor of holography - for which fans of "Dwarf," "Quantum Leap," and various other shows and movies (not to mention CNN) are most likely grateful.

Probably just a coincidence, all that. LOLOL ...

ETA: From chat musings with metalkatt: Mental image of Will Turner practicing his fencing with Hillary (butler from the "Tomb Raider" movies, for the uninitiated reading this). Preferably with both in pirate shirts and breeches. (We figured this is how Hillary and Bryce were able to get to Lara so quickly in the middle of the sea in TR2 - they boarded the Dutchman with Captain Will, who whisked them there while Hills punched up the Submarine Network on his cell, chatted with some old military contacts, and WHOOSH whatever was stationed nearby surfaced for the rescue. ROFL ...)
