ponderances
Aug. 18th, 2009 08:43 pmTwo completely different questions having nothing (I hope - though it would actually comfort me to know the second is affecting the first somehow) to do with each other:
1. Do I just not remember people openly carrying guns to appearances by Bush and the previous presidents I can recall in my lifetime? I mean, except for the time Reagan was shot - but even that was a concealed weapon, if I remember correctly. Or is this a very common thing that's just never made it on the news before? Because I sure don't remember it. And I feel I would've remembered that. (Related question: How bugfuck CRAZY do you have to be to carry a gun strapped to your hip to where the POTUS is going to be speaking, no matter who he is? I don't say "she" because it hasn't happened yet.)
2. There's a Cialis commercial urging users with an erection lasting more than 4 hours to consult a doctor, to avoid injury. Can an erection LAST 4 hours, comfortably? I need someone to tell me this (preferably male, but I'll take an answer from a female who knows up-close and personal secondhand, or who is a medical professional). Really?
