Great movie lines that made you laugh, for whatever reason ...
Just post a random line and what movie it's from, and why you like the movie (or not - hey, sometimes lines come from otherwise sucky films). I don't go to many movies or see many, but one of the recent ones my sister and I attended was "Role Models" with Seann William Scott and Paul Rudd, about two guys who have to work off community service by volunteering with a troubled kids' home - it has some rude and crude in it, but it gave us some good laughs and there's a nice little subplot about acceptance for LARPers and other roleplayers, both male and female. Anywho, there's a scene where the counselor is showing the volunteers "good" and "bad" touches, and she hugs another adult from behind. "This is bad," she explains.
"Well, obviously we're not supposed to buttfuck the children," says Scott's character.
dahlianna and I ROLLED. (Another good one was the little boy giving Rudd's character problems by kicking over his tent on a camping trip. When Rudd reprimands him, the kid goes, "What, because I'm black, you think I did it?" and Rudd answers, "No, I think you did it 'cause you DID it!")
Another underrated movie I like is "Who's That Girl?" (Yes, the Madonna movie co-starring Griffin Dunne.) It has a lot of good dialogue, such as when they fend off a couple of thugs and then have to race to the jewelry store to pick up a ring. Her character starts complaining about the detour, and his answers, "No. We did one of your things; we killed the pimp and the fat man. Now it's time to do one of MY things."
