(My political posts will continue throughout the season. They're not designed to change the minds of those who already prefer McCain; I'm not an idealist. Or a glutton for punishment, despite my past record. *G* But maybe I have some undecideds who read; there are supposedly an awful big chunk of them in the American voting public.)

(Translation: Until such time as the GOP can replace Palin's lies with some more general ones reflective of national and international politics, they have to find a scapegoat everybody hates while they effectively say "Shut up, Sarah.")
Sorry, Frau Palin. Elected and wannabe-elected officials are not required to "defer" to me for me to give them free publicity via interviews. You can't demand respect from anyone except those people you gave birth to - you have earn it. YOU chose to run for public office. YOU chose to put yourself on display. I doubt any of us leftist whores of the Fourth Estate told you to do it.
On the other hand ... there are days everybody can love my profession. Sort or reminds me of the naked guy on the interstate overpass who caused two cop cars to wreck in the dead middle of winter. Good times ... :-D
