AP finds water in many cities contaminated with trace pharmaceuticals
( If you don't want to click - it's long )
I'm less bothered by the fact the stuff is in the water than in agencies' apparent reluctance to address it. I'm of two minds about this; on the one hand, I understand there are certain tradeoffs in a modern civilization. If you want drugs, if you want massive repopulation (translation: If you want the right to pop out as many kids as you like, with no limits or cares as to the world's ability to support your progeny), if you want big cities and modern conveniences, this may well be part of the price for that. On the other hand, I can't believe there's nothing that can be done to fix the water problem, with enough study and research.
