Why I'll never be a convert to HP fandom
Nov. 13th, 2007 12:57 amIn 1992, I started watching Star Trek Next Gen (well, okay - I'd watched it before that, but usually only under force from my mother and boyfriend at the time, because they were both TOS Trekkies ... but 1992 is when I liked it on my own).
a_silver_rose introduced me to fanfic shortly after that, and the rest was history. I read it, I wrote some, and even my lesser-favorite characters usually showed up in my fic because I liked everyone and saw ways I could use them, both seriously and humorous.

Note: This is a repost of something I had up the other day. I wanted to ponder on it some more and took it down. It seems I have no sense of humor about fandom these days, and I wanted to make sure I'm good with that perception before I confirm it. I guess I'm square with that - in more ways than one. ;-)
