AM HOME TEH YAY
Jul. 22nd, 2007 04:15 pmDidn't take long to get home from the weekend in Cincinnati with the
yoiebear. We saw the Real Pirates exhibit about the Whydah today at the Cincinnati museum and got going home. (Alas, I don't think
yoiebear had as good luck on her trip home, but hopefully at least she'll be on safely to post about it tonight.) It was a good exhibit, and some of the weapons and the life-size ship hull were squee-worthy, but it's really geared more to people who know nothing about Atlantic piracy in the 18th century - in other words, not us or almost anyone who reads this journal. :-D
Our Friday night consisted of finishing most of a fifth of Parrot Bay hurricanes and watching "The Calcium Kid" and selections from "Kingdom of Heaven." Yesterday was going to a couple of malls and then watching "Haven" and selections from AWE. It's safe to say we can go almost anywhere in western Cincinnati or Erlanger by now, heh.
ETA: ( Upon watching AWE, we had some discussion )
