A few months ago, my sister got "Haven" for me. I've been hesitant to watch it because I'd read so many bad reviews, but I finally sat down tonight and just watched it.
*headshake* This was an excellent film. I cannot imagine the sheer lack of basic intelligence of someone who CANNOT follow these plot lines. It's not confusing; it's not badly edited. If you simply prefer a more linear progression, I can understand that - but I didn't see that this was confusing as is. I was doing other things while watching it and I *still* kept up just fine.
All the actors are good in this - not just Orlando (who was great, I gotta say - not that I'm surprised, but still). I don't care much for Bill Paxton, and I liked him in this. And Zoe Saldana and Bloom have real chemistry - no wonder Will/Anamaria is one of my secret het pairings ...
