Blabber (no, not "blubber" - blabber)

Life in general, news, POTC, anything I might know something about at all (which is more than you'd think, but not as much as I'd like, probably *G*), just loose ends you can't rant about anywhere else.
Just the usual annoyances over on this side of the screen. Although, I saw something this morning that had the equal effect of surprising/squicking/saddening/amusing me (because I'm THAT morbid, yes ... but, read on), on CNN. Apparently this kid barely avoided being shot at Va. Tech last Monday and went home like the other students after the murders because campus was closed down. At some point while he was home, he was in a car crash and died. (Understand that my amusement comes from the point that this sounds like something out of a "Final Destination" movie, which are so utterly cheesy and implausible that you know it has to be true, somewhere, sometime. *shudder*)
