My cat hunts lots of little critters regularly - squirrels, bluejays, sparrows, finches, rodents, chipmunks, even small rabbits, in the woods behind my apartment building. Generally he drags it to the back porch and eats half of it, then leaves the other half until he's sure I'm not interested in sharing his bounty.

Last night he dragged a small owl to the back porch. A small owl with fucking huge talons.

How the hell does a 15-pound pet cat kill an owl??
