The Happy Dance of Technology(TM)
Jan. 4th, 2006 09:59 pmFor 12 years, I've worked off of a 13-inch color TV. Even when the old one died, I replaced it with a 13-inch, because of the damn tube in the back - on a larger screen, it would simply stick out too much to fit on my current cabinet for TV, and I'd have to buy a big entertainment center.
The folks bought me a 20-inch FLATSCREEN for the holidays. It's maybe 2 inches wide from front to back. It fits on my cabinet! I can watch movies the way they were meant to be seen, without squinting! *happy dance*
(For the record, I don't have a lot in the way of tech or tech devices - a basic CD player, DVD/VCR player, a TV, and a laptop computer. That's pretty much it. I don't even have cable. New exciting things make me happy!)
