Will goes a bit stir-crazy and bored. After he learns everything about navigation and sailing from Barbossa and the Dutch trader captain they're with, he practices his sword-fighting on deck. That gets dull and no one wants to practice with him as much as he wants -- he decides to climb the rigging and practice on his own. Everyone tells him it's a completely silly thing to do, because no one EVER needs to know how to swordfight in a ship's rigging. The hired crew cluck nervously and make weird signs at his back. Tia Dalma just smiles. Elizabeth watches and thinks he's really hot before sighing and forces herself to look away. And Barbossa rolls his eyes and sends Jack the Monkey up to keep Will company so Will doesn't go completely 'round the bend and kill them all. Somehow they all get to Singapore without anybody dying (good thing too, since Davy Jones was otherwise occupied at the time), and Will leaps from the prow the instant they enter the harbor and swims all the way to the first dock. He climbs out of the water, soaking wet, and kisses the rather slimy wood. Tia Dalma frowns at this and shakes her head sadly.
