Well-thought, well-written, sensitive, touching, accurate....you've got it all! It's the kind of work we all strive for...okay, I'll speak just for myself, but I have a strong feeling there are many more like me out there.
You've touched on a large hole that's been left (that I've been able to read) gaping. There seemed so much that needed be said between Will and Bill. You've only scratched the surface...but it was so well said.
I really appreciated the bit of Will not being such a good pirate, uncomfortable with that mantle. Nice touch! It confirms my suspicions. That he has the confidence and sensibilities to be a good captain follows well, also.
So many little bits and pieces that are so special and poignant. Bill's POV was well thought, too.
I'm rambling, because I just don't know which direction to go first! Suffice to say: LOVE IT!!!! Kerry
