veronica_richI really need to take up original writing again, seriously and for true. Dabbling in fanfic is fine and good, but it's a bitch when you're making the effort to figure out a way to write stuff so all the characters are fairly treated, and you see some other writer disregarding shit left and right to achieve a simple plot point they're after. Or possibly, I'm just tired of reading certain kinds of fic at this point. metalkatt, but work on something else, too. Might help me better with the work writing as well.
(And no, for the record, it's not J/E this time and I'm not going to say what it is. I'm just generally sick of poor characterizations in the name of romance. I'm about this close to agreeing with a certain person on my f-list, and giving up on reading het at all.)
