I liked it quite a bit too - just saw it last night. The only things I didn't like was the lack of closure, assuming they WON'T be making a fourth, though they certainly left it wide open, and the over the top parts that stretched from imaginative fantasy to gimme-a-break.
I must say that though I liked it, I liked your ending better. :)
